Singapore Airlines' Maiden Flight to Seattle in Early September
Singapore Airlines' A350-900 ULR aircraft fleet. Image source: Singapore Airlines. - Singapore Airlines (SIA) will serve its maiden non-stop flight to Seattle, United States (US) from Singapore on September 3, 2019. The city at once to be the fifth destination in the SIA flight network in US.

"We currently fly (non-stop) to New York, namely to the JFK and Newark Liberty airport, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston. Seattle will be the fifth city in the United States," said SIA Public Relations Manager for Indonesia, Glory Henriette during a press conference at the 2019 SIA-BCA Travel Fair in Jakarta, Friday (23/8/3019).

During September 2019, SIA will serve long-haul direct flights the Singapore-Seattle route three times a week. Then in October 2019, the frequency of flights will be increased to four times a week.

Tickets for this newest flight can be found at the 2019 SIA-BCA Travel Fair. Promotion prices offered for Jakarta - Singapore - Seattle flight round trip are only priced at Rp8,5million. This price includes a cashback promotion worth Rp1,5million.

This travel fair being held in a number of cities in Indonesia. Besides being held at Main Atrium Gandaria City, Jakarta (8/22-25/2019); a similar travel fair also held at Pakuwon Mall, Surabaya (8/22-25/2019); and Lippo Mall Kuta, Denpasar (8/23-25/2019).

SIA will operate the Airbus A350-900 ULR aircraft fleet for this long-haul direct flight services. Seat configuration on this aircraft consists of 42 business class seats, 24 premium economy class seats and 170 economy class.
