Image source: Renault. - PT Maxindo Renault Indonesia (MRI) plans to introduce Renault's Low Multi-Purpose Vehicle (LMVP) product to enliven the homeland automotive market. Renault Triber, a 7-seater ultra-modular car, is ready to appear at the GIIAS 2019 automotive exhibition which will be held in July 2019.

"We are very enthusiastic to welcome the arrival of Renault Triber in Indonesia, which will be introduced at GIIAS in next July. The breakthrough design and features of Renault Triber which will become the new automotive standard in Indonesian, will attract customers from various segments," said PT MRI CEO, Davy J Tuilan, Thursday (6/20/2019).

Previously, Groupe Renault globally had just introduced the Renault Triber in New Delhi, India, Wednesday (06/19/2019).

This French manufacturer's car has an attractive, sturdy, spacious and modular design. The presence of Triber Renault will contribute to Groupe Renault's global strategy to continue to grow in the world automotive market. This vehicle will be produced in Chennai, India and will be marketed in India in the second half of this year.

"India is a key market for Groupe Renault. In India we are still young, but our ambitions are very high in line with our strategic plan, "Drive the Future" by targeting two sales in 2022, "said Groupe CEO Renault, Thierry Bolloré.

Modern Renault Triber interior design represents the leading technology with an entertainment system with an 8-inch touch screen that is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features.

This vehicle provides 710mm distance at the front row, second-row legroom up to 200mm, and leg space for the third row 91mm. Each row is equipped with socket charging and air conditioning for passengers. This car offers more than 100 different seating configurations.

Renault Triber is equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine that can provide power up to 72 hp and a peak torque of 96 Nm. This car is offered with two types of transmission systems, five-speed manual and five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

For safety, the Renault Triber is equipped with four airbags and seat belts on all rows and is equipped with a retractor and pretensioner for the driver. Parking sensors and speed warning systems are also embedded in this type of car.
